Hurricane Katrina: survivors ready to let go
On the 10-year anniversary of Hurricane Katrina, survivors of the storm gathered in New Orleans to look back and look ahead with the city's mayor and former President Bill Clinton. Denise Nicholas Jackson, the Hurricane Katrina's survivor: I'm displaced person from the New Orleans. I was born and raised here and i spent 40 some years living here. I love the city. Love for home is why Denise Nicholas Jackson came from Houston to mark the 10th anniversary of Katrina. The New Orleans native lost her house in the storm. So did Barbara Manual forced to leave for four months before returning home to st. Bernard Parish. Tonight both women decided to attend a special commemoration to reflect and remember.
