I am sorry to say there will be no class on Monday, April 8 :(

This is going to be your last blog task ... on syntactic SDs. You are free to post whatever you like (as far as it concerns the topic),  but I would like you either to compare and contrast SDs, or dwell upon some devices we have not discussed yet.

The task is to discuss syntactic(al) SDs we have learnt about -just one, several,or all of them. You could also introduce something new. Do not forget about two comments - they should be 'meaty'.

This week we are going to discuss syntactic SDs.

Week 8 is our rating week, that is why this week you could revise all lexical stylistic means, or any of them in your blogs. I hope this task is going to help you to get ready with your rating tests.

This time you could discuss pun, zeugma, irony, malapropism, or/and antiproverbs.Good
