The Impact of the holiday "Halloween" on the study of English.

On October 31,2019, first-year master students of the specialty “ 7M01704 -two foreign languages” with foreign students who came to study under the program "Flagman" was organized festive action on the theme "the impact of the "Halloween" holiday on the study of English". The event was attended by teachers and students of the Department of General linguistics and European languages.

Attendees came to the celebration carefully, all participants dressed up for Halloween and took an active part in all the activities.
During the event, photo and video presentations from the history of the Halloween holiday were demonstrated in order to get acquainted with the culture of the English-speaking countries.
At the end of the event, for students were given the task to create a symbol of the Halloween holiday- Jack-o-lantern. Jack-o-lantern is one of the main attributes of the holiday
The peculiarity of this event is the possibility of self-development of participants, which undoubtedly has a positive effect on the learning process.
