RELEASING THE PRISONER
What means being free?
Some of you think about the prisoner. Some of you can imagine an adventurer tavelling in the mountains. Some can remember about housekeeping mothers with 5, 6, 7 children. One can say about office clerks, and others can tell about a child suffering from cruel parental care.
There are lot of meanings of one word and a big amount of words can describe one meaning.
When I studied at school I was kind of self-contained kid. I was shy and uncertain. I didn't have a lot of friends. There were only my classmates as my friends, even not all of them. I was familiar only with those teachers that taught us. Despite of good marks and attending on school competitions I thought that I don't know more than others do. I was thinking that I know and have less than others. That was wrong. That is the scariest thing that can happen to any man in the world.
Not being satisfied by yourself. Not accepting yourself. Being dependent of another mans opinion. Not releasing your ability, your skills, power, influence, knowledge, dignity. Not being able to prove what you worth and being scared of what you can lose.
So, there is the main question - how being free can affect on how people act.
After when I was in the middle of the third, final grade of my school, I thought "Hey, that's the last year. Why am I here and why I don't have fun at least?". And I suggested to my friends to stop being nerds, to go outside and take a walk in the park or by the river. And then we went outside. It was winter and we were like pinguins, because we decided to try skiing. It was my first and last time. We forgot about the exams for a while, we forgot about professors threatening.
Changing the mind. That is the matter. Change the point of view, forget about things that worry, stop being uncertain and unsure in one's abilitites, give a try and taste an unknown.
What I want to say is anyone in the world, whether it's prisoner or student, businessman or slave, housekeeper or office clerk, anyone is free. They only have to realize it. Realize what their minds worth, what they can do, where they are aimed to go, who supports them or whom they support... Just need to realize that being free of worries, being free of dependence and changing their minds is the main point of understanding who they really are and what they want to get from life.
