Waste Water Recycling

These stages are divided in preliminary, primary, secondary treatment steps. The technological advancement has even made it possible to make arrangement to treat domestic water - in form of grey water treatment system – that can be further used for irrigation and landscaping purpose.

Many of the Asian countries including India and China have not witnessed a remarkable growth in establishing waste water recycling projects. Many private and private-public projects have been announced but they are yet to actually take off. Recently, European Union and India have agreed to working jointly on 80-crore project that aim at treating both domestic and industrial waste water.

The main aim of the project is to ensure recycling and reuse of water efficiently. This initiative indicates towards a positive approach of Indian government in context to the severe issue of water availability. A lot of efforts go into setting a waste water recycling project. It involves detailed facilities planning, life cycle assessment, bios lids management planning, process and concept design, construction management and inspection activities, automation, economic analysis, etc.

Though, the recycling technologies are still involving, some of the companies in India have proved their capabilities to set up waste water plants. With government policies encouraging the suitable development, water recycling is poised to grow in the country.
