It has turned out that may in groups of “Early development” in our centre was very rich on birthdays. We have discussed with parents and came to conclusion to arrange “Day of the Birthdays” for all our “may newborns”.
It became interesting to ourselves, what is the holiday of birthday? The most people will answer that it is a day when person was born, when you celebrate it with close friends and relatives also receive a gifts. But seldom we ask question about the origin of the birthday.
It appears, the tradition to celebrate birthday has arisen in Europe many centuries ago. During those old times was considered that malicious forces especially "become more active" in birthday of the person. For this reason, members of a family and close friends gathered under one roof to protect the birthday man with kind words, wishes, gifts. The first country which has started to celebrate children's birthdays is Germany.
And we have decided to celebrate birthdays of all our kids together. After all the birth of the child is the greatest miracle in the world!
Teachers have prepared small play «On a visit at the Little Red Riding Hood and the Hare». On a holiday were soap bubbles and songs cheerful and favorite by children, and interesting travel through a tunnel «Pleasure and happiness». And, certainly, what is the birthday without favorite song "Karavai".
Children and their parents were very pleased by this holiday. It has came out as kind and very house holiday. And after the show there was a joint tea drinking. Each birthday man has blown out a candle on its own piece of a pie. Also there has been a lot of wishes to our kids:
«Let our children grow kind, affectionate, let the sun also warms them, let people also smile to them and notice their small achievements!»
