Standford university will take a free courses by 16 themes. For example: http://www.venture-class.org/ . Other themes you can find in the bottom of this page.

Think Stanford University is too expensive for you? Think again. Stanford offers a series of free online courses on topics ranging from Natural Language Processing to Anatomy. These courses will be starting in January or February 2012.
Short length video lectures are recorded and recordings will be available, allowing students to watch the lectures at their leisure. Text transcriptions may be available for videos.
The following are brief descriptions of courses grouped by topic.

Entrepreneurship

Lean Launchpad – Have a great idea? Take this course to learn what’s involved in turning ideas into great companies. Instructor Steve Blank prepares students for the uncertainty and chaos that accompanies the startup process.

Technology Entrepreneurship – Taught by Professor Chuck Eesley, this free course teaches students the process of creating start-ups in realms such as information, consumer and medical technology.

Computer Science

CS 101 – Take this course to learn the essentials of Computer Science. Anyone using computers can benefit from the basics taught by instructor Nick Parlante.

Probabilistic Graphical Models – Join Professor Daphne Koller in creating a basic foundation to model beliefs regarding the world’s condition. This is a valuable course for anyone wanting to create coherent reasoning from limited or diverse observations.

Machine Learning – Through this course, students discover the science of making computers act without being specifically programmed. Machine Learning is taught by Professor Andrew Ng.

Cryptography – During this course, Professor Dan Boneh teaches students about Cryptography, a valuable tool for safeguarding information on computer systems.

Software as a Service – Want to learn the process of developing long-lasting software? With this course, Professors Armando Fox and David Patterson teach the importance of involving customers, reducing development mistakes and other development fundamentals.

Design and Analysis of Algorithms I – Through this online class, Professor Tim Roughgarden teaches students the fundamentals of algorithm design including applications for searching, fast sorting and multiplication.

Medicine

Anatomy – This course offers immense value for anyone studying or working in healthcare. Anatomy is taught by Dr. Srivastava and offers the basic framework used in communications about the body.

Civil Engineering

Making Green Buildings – This course is for students who want to learn the process of creating sustainable buildings. Learn new age building concepts taught by instructor Martin Fischer.

Complex Systems

Model Thinking – This course introduces the use of models in understanding the world and its complexities. Instructed by Scott E. Page, Model Thinking is designed to help students excel in future social science endeavors.

Information Theory – Taught by Tsachy Weissman, this course explores the basic concepts of Information Theory. The free course is recommended for students in the fields of data compression, communications and statistical signal processing.

Natural Language Processing - This course covers a range of topics including information extraction, meaning extraction and question answering. Natural Language Processing is instructed by Professors Dan Jurafsky and Christopher Manning.

Интересные, конечно, но жалко времени на то, что никогда не пригодится. Было бы здорово, если бы какой - нибудь сертификат выдавался после прохождения курса.
