Я думал сегодня в городе праздник – Хью Фрейзер

This was the second time, when I was meeting a British man in Kazakhstan. This time he was an actor. Well known, highly respected, strongly recommended person, 65-year-old professional – Hugh Munro Fraser.

Hugh was humble, gentle, and simple man as all foreigners seem to be, especially Brits. But I was surprised with the fact that, Hugh, coming to Kazakhstan, being a famous actor, was very talkative and communicative.

We've watched Sergey Snezhkin's movie "Жұлдыздар тоғысқанда" in the presence of the President Nazarbayev. Before the movie nobody even didn't know that Hugh is playing one of the key roles in the movie. Ater we've finished watching the movie (3 hours 8 minutes), everyone started asking him to give an autograph. I even forgot to ask him to give me a special one.

In a nutshell, it was a pleasure to meet Hugh, to show him glamorous Astana, and I believe this is not his last visit to Kazakhstan, it was the first visit to Central Asia though.
