There's lots of new material with Episode 5 to Phantasy Star Online 2 Meseta keep players active, and the story is back to being focused around ARKS and combating with the Dark Falz. Alongside all these exciting new features, new things and Scratch Tickets are also out, and fresh Urgent Quests will be on how to freshen things up in PSO2. There are still many details to be revealed as time goes , but a few significant things like battle and the planet are much clearer. Hiro Arai out of Sega was live for nearly an hour to show off footage of gameplay and talk about what new things are on the road. Not much was mentioned about the present game and the upgrade coming alongside NG's release other than the graphical update, which is looking great. NG is going to have totally open world from the home base to the area. The TGS footage showed a gorgeous new world that is a significant update from the current game. Arai mentions that distinct areas can be attained easily by simply exposing the entire world. It seems like that is the world Naberious from the current game, with forests being adjacent to tundra and different regions. Areas are still technically divided up, but there is no loading between them. While it has not been straight said, an open world like this implies there might not be single party places anymore. Most shown in the footage were multi-party regions where there were other players. The cover for multi-party places continues to be lowered to eight down from twelve in the current PSO2, but who you see will differ from area to area.

Time may also change, and footage showed some nice touches such as fireflies in the woods at night. There is no word on fast travel, vehicles or mounts nevertheless, but Sega has implemented some new ways for players to move quickly across this large new world. Players will be able to run faster after a dodge both in and out of battle. A blue streak follows underfoot, so you will know you're doing it right once you watch it.
The other significant addition to movement shown off at the initial NG trailer is that the slide. It goes as far as a few of those screenshots have made it look. Players may get to high ground and leap off to glide and receive pretty damn much through the map. Like in Breath of the Wild, you'll have the ability to make you're way up a mountain to glide away from -- but minus anything alerting you enjoy stamina. It will also make for some dramatic entrances in to conflict. Sega mentioned that gathering and crafting would be getting an overhaul, and while we didn't get a peek at crafting, we did observe how much nicer it is to snag items within the field. Gathering can be performed on the fly, similar to Dragon Hunter: World. Get close to a product, and just tap a button. Fruit can be harvested in trees, you will find new docile creatures which can be searched for meat and other items and healing items are found through the property as green luminous indicators called Resta Signs. It is much more intuitive than the present game. It's just faster, more mobile and smoother. There are no more Perfect Attacks; instead, it's more like contemporary action games with combos and counterattacks. Dodging and blocking is liquid for all classes too. Certain classes may see a difference in drama. There is no longer attacking in the air indefinitely, therefore expect to be on the ground more dodging and countering. Attacks and PAs are set up the exact same manner they're currently with certain buttons performing particular attacks or the 1-2-3 system. So far as PB's go, because Mag's will not be part of gameplay , they behave more like Sophisticated Photon Arts, that were introduced in Japan's PSO2 with Episode 6. Rather than summoning a creature, PB's will rather be a huge attack dealing serious harm that should be recharged through combat.
Of the three courses they revealed, Force had some of the greatest changes. They finally have a block similar to Hunters on top of their dodge, and it can be a much-needed addition as they can be fragile and slowed down by Technique charging. Techniques have also gotten better because they no longer need to get billed to use. They finally have an uncharged attack that, while not as powerful as buy PSO2 Meseta the charged version, still does some good damage.
