The Scientific Research and Education Center “Green Academy” in cooperation with the Ministry of Environment and Water Resources of the Republic of Kazakhstan on July 23-24 will conduct the workshop-training on the theme “Improvement of waste management..
The aim of the workshop is strengthening the capacity in the field of waste management and evaluation of environmental impacts.
The workshop will focus issues on creating the effective solid household waste management system, waste-management organizations in industrial enterprises, disposal of unclaimed hazardous waste, appeal with persistent organic pollutants. The participants also will become familiar with the obligations of Kazakhstan under the international conventions, as well as improve knowledge on legal framework in the field of waste management.
On the second day of the workshop will be arranged the round table during which will be discussed issues on improving the legislation in the field of waste management in the Republic of Kazakhstan.
As lecturers of the workshop will be attended the specialists and experts from the UNDP, World Bank project, Finnish Water Forum, SRDI “Astanagenplan”, etc.
