Relevance of the formation of monitoring system on the transition to “green” economy caused by necessity to develop measurable and clear “green” growth indicators for decision makers. Under the workshop participants will familiarize with international experience in the assessment of progress and “green” growth indicators, with the evaluation methodology of the OECD and priorities of formation of the “green economy” monitoring system in the Republic of Kazakhstan.
During the practical session of the workshop the participants will discuss proposals of the OECD on development and implementation the indicators for assessing the progress in the “green” economy at the national and regional levels.
In the workshop will take place the OECD experts and representatives of the Agency for Statistics of the Republic of Kazakhstan, MEBP, MINT, MA, etc.
