с чего все началось

I have never been crazy about the healthy way of living but now it seems to be a trend. All of my female and some male friends are very much into going to the gym, eating healthy fresh foods, doing yoga, jogging along the river bank, etc, etc, etc.

Healthy lifestyle is a huge popular business in western countries since 1980s. Gradually it came here too. While I do understand all the factors of such popularity it makes me consciously and unconsciously resist "fashion" for sports, diets, protein-based smoothies. Since I have friends living all around the world I see that a lot of them are becoming more and more under influence of healthy trends  so I've thought at some point that it might be not that bad to be part of the marathon called "Healthy Life".

So after being under costant influence of the "real followers of the trend" I've decided why would I resist healthy lifestyle when instead I could have tried it myself. I've decided to prove myself I should learn first until I choose the option of total resistance. As a result I decided to start up the blog and called it "Healthy life". It's more like sort of my personal database of what do I exactly know about the trend, what should I still learn, explore, discover.

First I have read couple of "diet books", which I will talk

in more detail in a separate article. Second, I have watched and examined couple of popular fitness videos (I plan to write about this too). Third, I have bought a gym membership card (first time in my life). To sum up, I have started my observation of the trend and will post all the latest findings and updates here in the community called "Healthy Life".

My purpose of this research is not to become a hardcore healthy lifestyle follower but to check if the representative of the general public can benefit from all the extra-popular approaches and how his/her life can change from this implementations.
