"Happy birthday, Kapshagai!"
September 16, 2017 in the Almaty region, in Kapshagai, a celebration was held in honor of the city's birthday. The organizers presented the following program of activities to residents:

The event began with a ceremony of laying flowers at the monument to DA Kunaev and the memorial of the first builders. The next few hours the city hosted tournaments in such sports as judo and mini-football (among boys and children). Also, residents and visitors of the city could visit the festive exhibitions: an exhibition of the achievements of social and economic development of the region, an exhibition of ethno-cultural associations of the city, an exhibition of children's drawings "Kapshagai - through the eyes of children" and an exhibition of thoroughbred dogs and cats. Also, on the territory of shopping and entertainment centers "Small" and "City Plus", there were festive concerts of creative teams of Schengeldinsky and Zarechensky districts. Closer to evening in the city square was KVN and Youth flash mob. The event was continued by the concert of the variety-symphony orchestra of K. Bayezetova.
"I really liked the City Day today. Everything is festive, beautiful. The orchestra, the ensemble is generally all great. We are waiting for the salute. The program itself, all day and registration - all more interesting than last year "- residents of the city of Kapshagai.

At 19 o'clock a concert began with the stars of the Kazakh stage "Good Evening, Kapshagai", where such stars as "Alash smiles", Akylbek Zhemeney, Mayra Ilyasova, Serikbol Saylaubek, "Ringo" group and others performed. The event ended with a festive salute in honor of the City Day. After a bright show of fireworks, a festive disco was waiting for the residents. People were crying "Happy birthday, Kapshagai!"
