Really the most tragic loss in the history of PSO2

The English dub is decent! But as before quitting in Japanese, someone who sat through Episode 1, it is the second time. I'm new to cheap PSO2 Meseta entirely but I do not think the English dub is bad at all, very tropey vocal archetypes but I sort of anticipated that part. Episode 1 narrative on the other hand was pretty dull. Episode 1 has regrettably been dull. That is why I never really got through the story in JP and was always grateful that no content is secured to it. At least the Matter Board is gone. There are a good deal of individuals who believe if the voices arnt exact copies of the jap dub then its horrible shitty dub since they're seeing a familiar narrative being"bastardized." As always humans prefer the first way they found things if both ways are good.

A lot of people who never saw or heard the jap dub believes its fine if you dismiss the floppy lips that dont sync... but then again I dont really care. I don't get how the dub could be interpreted pretty well but the text so poorly. Voice lines don't even say the identical thing they phrases. I get that there is multiple ways to translate a line from a language like Japanese to English, but the fact that they clearly had two completely different groups which weren't coordinated in any respect is really bothering me. Also, how the formatting of the text in a lot of scenarios is obnoxiously off causes my OCD really bad. The worst one is that the teleporter prep for Falz Hands.

It seems to me like part of Phantasy Star Online 2 was properly translated and the other part was interpreted by an intern with google interpret, the stuff which boggles my mind the most is how the ability rings refer to skills by their japanese transliterated names (aka the exact same as the arkslayer patch) when the actual skill tree shows different names for exactly the exact same thing, the prime example is that he launcher ring, which pertains to the weak place damage increase skill by its own japanese title, like, outright just says the jp name instead of the NA one. I agree with you on that point, it is definitely really bad in certain areas like the Skill Rings.

However, more than anything I'm bothered by stuff like the"gods be surgical," line where the voice properly says,"godspeed operative," yet the text states something different. Other times you are going to have things like the operator saying something like,"Something's coming...I think!" Yet the voice above will say,"Something's coming...probably!" These are. That means that they interpreted the same lines twice and both times got different results, then no one proof-read or assessed anything before pushing it out. It is a complete lack of testing, it is something a QA team should have caught if they did the most basic quantity of work.

When starting take some time to setup shortcuts how you want. Test 2 mouse buttons out together with what you want/prefer to function best with vs 3 mouse buttons. As it affect how you play with Phantasy Star Online 2. (plus not all of mouses are the same, mouse wheel as third mouse button e.g. on my mouse is blegh so I went with two mouse button setup). NPC Jean (jp name, shop area just under the shops alongside some terminals) has also a few tutorials which will learn you a bit of stuff. Mention him? Franka's Cafe (jp title, sorry dunno na name atm) will teach you about collecting and rings. Additionally ancient introduced and pso2 sales will give you complimentary rings. I would advise doing that asap tbh.
