PSO2 is currently eating my own system alive
I have played nearly 200 hoursand today while I was doing among the story missions fighting the 3 together with the 6 and pso2 sales the new 4(Zeno for context here) it finished and I got a blank screen with the HUD. I had to depart. So that I rebooted I couldn't relaunch and I couldn't. It duplicated itself into another folder /mutable. I've discovered over 495,653 files at over 174GB, what the frick? I can not play Phantasy Star Online 2. It is multiplying on my driveway and I have had to strip all of the permissions so that I could get my drive space back. I see as I've looked about, that it is a problem, but has Sega stated it is being worked on by anything besides they? I adore Phantasy Star Online 2, but I'm not going to keep doing home maid service on a launcher.
It ties into Microsoft Store issues. It's going to download and update Phantasy Star Online 2 to you and does not come with all of the various Microsoft Store bugs. Yeah, I might have to. After 4 hours of wasting a fantastic portion of my game day and eliminating of the old files I finally got it up and running, but I fear it replicate when I get up in the morning. It's kind of humorous. It was fine, initially. Then this update came out, while lots of people were having issues I was not and I'm one of those victims it sounds. I'll login again after I wake up and see what it looks like. I may need to give that a try.
I fired the system up this afternoon and was beginning PSO2 and hey look we get more desktop! I uninstalled it, then went back so that I could actually remove it. Once more, stripped all the permissions so that I could eliminate it and clicked"Permanently Delete" so it wouldn't move to the recycle bin. FREEDOM!!! I have my drive back and that I have a launcher.
I was putting off PSO2 Tweaker for the"right way", but clearly the ideal way is the incorrect way until they fix it. The thing is however is the pso2 tweaker was the go to tweaker for playing pso2 jp for years, and the main reason why the tweaker also gets the na option is for its microsoft store that is buggy/bad. It functions for games which don't need a launcher but awful for games which do need one such as pso2. Since it is coming into pc platforms later on you don't actually need the MS Store to install pso2.
Is it gratifying and worth doing? Or is killing things and performing quests the loop that is gameplay that is viable? Crafting/gathering is"meh" at PSO2. For gathering it costs 1 time to be gathered by 10 endurance. So basically 10 times you're able to collect before from endurance. Stamina refills in a slow rate, it takes about 5 hours to refill (or spend SG to fill it quicker ). Gathering and fishing possess their own stamina bar. In terms of crafting, now, you can craft rings. Which are helpful. But since the stuff to collect is infrequent and Phantasy Star Online 2 Meseta slow, it is going to take to upgrade a ring.
