During the visit to the United States, the President of Kazakhstan Nursultan Nazarbayev met with the representatives of the leading US companies. Among them – “Guggenheim”, “JP Morgan”, “Pfizer”, “Blackstone”, etc.
The participants of the meeting were informed about the prospects of the companies’ participation in further economic development of Kazakhstan and the possibilities of cooperation in the framework of the establishment of the International Financial Center in Astana.
Nursultan Nazarbayev: The US companies will actively participate in “EXPO-2017″ and the establishment of IFC in Astana
The Head of the State told about the establishment and development of our country’s independence, as well as the current progress in implementing reforms and strengthening the authority of the country in the international arena.
Nursultan Nazarbayev noted that today the US companies are represented in virtually all sectors of our economy. In addition, the President focused on the important tasks set by our country. Among them – the implementation of five institutional reforms, privatization, and large-scale infrastructure construction in the framework of the program “Nurly Zhol”.
Particular attention was paid to the forthcoming exhibition “EXPO-2017″ and the establishment on its basis of the International Financial Center in Astana. The Head of the State expressed confidence that the US companies will actively participate in these projects.
In turn, the US businessmen praised Kazakhstan’s efforts to increase the investment attractiveness of the country and to strengthen its legal, institutional and infrastructural basis for further development.
