NU and “Astana EXPO-2017″ to hold inter’l forum “Energy of the Future 2015″ in Paris

Nazarbayev University in partnership with “NC “Astana EXPO-2017″ JSC will hold an international forum “Energy of the Future 2015″ in Paris, Nazarbayev University President Shigeo Katsu said at a press conference in the Central Communications Service.

” Nazarbayev University in partnership with “NC “Astana EXPO-2017″ JSC will hold an international forum “Energy of the Future 2015″ which will take place in Paris on December 9 within the 21st Conference of the Parties of the UN Framework Convention on Climate Change. Forum aims to promote best practices in the field of energy and sustainable development, the scientific and technological developments in the field of clean energy”, said Sh.Katsu.

As the university president said, the forum will focus on “Fight against climate change and the Energy of the Future”.

Thus, the forum program will include thematic sessions on the key issues of energy and sustainable development. The session will discuss and define the main directions of the next Forum “Energy of the Future”, the proposals for the development of the pavilion “Best practices of EXPO-2017″.

The Paris Conference on Climate Change (COP 21) is important with the fact that the event is expected to sign a new international agreement to prevent the rise in temperature.
