Memorandum between Antikor and Zhetysu University

The purpose of the document is the joint formation of an anti-corruption culture among students, as well as improving economic and legal literacy.

During the event, the head of the Department of the Anti-Corruption Agency of the Republic of Kazakhstan in the Almaty region Makazhanov Yernar made a speech. During the meeting, he spoke about the measures taken in the region to combat corruption and the importance of forming anti-corruption immunity among young people. He also noted that as part of the reform of anti-corruption legislation, new positions of "compliance officers" are being introduced in state organizations, who implement anti-corruption policy and are responsible for compliance with corporate integrity standards and anti-corruption legislation. Today, these positions have been introduced in more than 200 state organizations of the region.

Murat Shugyla Askhatovna, head of the student organization "Sanaly student", coordinator of the Youth Center, spoke on behalf of the university students.

The event was attended by the university administration, heads of departments, active students.
