letters from M.
"Good morning, beautiful.
This is how I'd love to greet you every day. But see, the thing is that you don't even know me. I thank God our campus is this small because this way I can see you every single day and the seconds I see you make my day. I put them away, hide them from everyone so that at the end of a day when I have my memories to myself, I replay them in my mind over and over again. The split second of your attention makes my stupid heart jump.
You are wonderful. Do you know that? I hope you're not rolling your eyes now. Actually cross that out. I just hope you're still reading this nonsense. I remember this one day you were sitting at the cafe and talking to your friends about how you have an unexplainable love towards weirdos and misfits. Well, maybe you'll like this letter then.
I'm not a creeper, I promise. I'm just quite observant especially when it comes to you. But I have a confession to make. I saw you reading one of my other letters. And remember how a friend of yours asked who it was from and what it was? And you said that this was private and it was between you and the author of the letter. I'm sure if you had just turned around you'd have definitely noticed me because I was just glowing with happiness at that moment. Somehow you made me feel so special.
This is my fifth letter to you. And with every one of them I feel more and more free. You might wonder what keeps me down? I know how stupid and cowardly it will sound but I need to find courage to come out to my parents, my friends, and myself yet. I hope one day I'll do it. As for now, I just ask you to smile more. Maybe I'll be lucky enough to get you smile at me, who knows?
Yours, M."
Действительно, пятое письмо. И каждое написано так красиво, так элегантно. Они как произведения искусства, на самом деле. Качественная бумага, светло-фиолетовый конверт, черные чернила, и изумительный почерк. Иногда очень хочется найти автора, легонько так стукнуть по лбу и сказать "Don't waste your time being anonymous, silly. You're worth everything and even more."
