How to Dry A Kids Down Jacket
It’s better to drip dry a down jacket dry or use a tumble dryer
1. Once the wash is complete, carefully remove the down jacket. It'll be pretty heavy.
2. Lay the jacket flat to dry on a clothing rack. As you do this, gently fluff up the down.

3. It’ll take around 24–48 hours to drip dry, depending on the weather conditions.
4. As the jacket dries, keep giving it the occasional fluff, particularly around any wet clumps of down.
5. When the down jacket is almost dry, put it in the tumble dryer on low heat and check it regularly.

6. To maximize the loft of your kid’s down jacket, throw in two to three tennis balls or drying balls. This will really help fluff up the jacket.

The answer is YES:
Soak the jacket for up to 60 minutes in a sink.
Add a down-specific detergent.
Compress the item to remove air and place it in soapy water.
Rinse the item repeatedly until the water runs clear at least three times.
Use the up-mentioned steps to dry your child’s jackets.
Tips
Here are some valuable tips for you:
📷
Use a toothbrush for spot cleaning the collar if necessary
If possible, always use front-loading washing machines
Avoid dry cleaning as chemicals can damage the jacket
Don’t wring the down jacket, no matter how heavy it is. If you must, gently shake any excess water off while supporting its weight.
Do not use or store the jacket while it’s wet. Otherwise, your young adventure will be wet and smelly.
