Kapchagay

There are lots of places you can visit in Almaty. In summer, you will probably need something makes you keep cool (I’m not kidding, it’s too hot there in summer). So, all you need is air conditioning, you may say. That’s a good point, but let’s go out! Like an option, you may go to Kapchagay reservoir, where you can swim a bit and get a suntan. You may use a regular bus from Sayran or Sayakhat bus stations. It will cost you 500 tenge. After 1.30 – 2 hours you will be there, in Kapchagay. So, the first building you may see is the Bus station.

The next point is Kapchagay reservoir. So, at this time you need to walk down the Zhambil street. On this way, you will find some useful for tourists “rent ads”.
