Jordan confirmed its participation in EXPO-2017

Jordan confirmed its participation in the International specialized exhibition EXPO-2017 in Astana.

During the meeting of the First Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs, EXPO-2017 commissioner Rapil Zhoshybayev with Montasser al-Oklahoma, Jordanian side has officially confirmed its participation in “EXPO-2017” in Astana.

The Commissioner-General met with the chairman of the Jordanian Investment Agency Montasser al-Oklahoma, responsible for Jordan’s taking part in EXPO international exhibitions, General Secretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates of Jordan Mohammed Yasin, Secretary General of the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources Taleb Maabra and Secretary General of the Ministry of Tourism and Antiquities Ibrahim Gammo.

The sides discussed in detail the organizational issues and initialed a respective agreement.

Also the Ministry of Tourism and Antiquities of Jordan has raised the issues of promoting tourist potential, including development of tour packages and possibility of opening direct flights between the two capitals.
