I just like the aesthetic of it
A potato would do. But seriously, if you would like to be in a position to perform over osrs. My go-to is an GTX 1060. It is a mix of RS gold cost/performance. That's a choice for the price. Though I would strongly recommend the 6 gig model. It's mature but honestly you do not want much else. You are able to play most modern games on high settings with playable frame rates (near or above 60fps in 1080p). It's only when you want to have more intensive things such as gaming in raytracing 8k and most of of the bells and whistles that you start needing more then that, and rendering versions. That isn't bad to hope to that if it is something, but it's a bit excessive. The fact op want it for RuneScape kind of earning the latter of everything I stated invalid. Playing with osrs on 8k are near impossible, or at the very least give you arm and neck strain.
It should be just fine for it. You just may not get a experience that is enjoyable by other people's standards. Like it won't hinder your gameplay at all, but whenever you've got a good dedicated graphics card with all the ideal runelite settings enabled you get near the experience which you would have on osrs cellphone on a modern snapdragon 700+ smart phone(which is buttery smooth because it's actually optimized).Ideally I wouldn't even upgrade if I where you and with the way I know your workflow to get the desktop. If you had any other interest in gambling is when I would find the graphics card since it is going to essentially allow you to play each game out there (such as the reduced end vr matches that you would find in the PlayStation VR shop like super sexy or job simulator) when with the integrated graphics card you're probably stuck to games like tf2, sims, league of legends, along with old Xbox 360 erra matches (fallout fresh Vegas) in low resolutions and crappy fps (15-30).The simple fact that RuneScape is nonrestrictive and non-linear means it is up to the players they want to play. You set goals for yourself work towards them, similar to Minecraft. You get experience from killing cow and still can be max level, or you can be extremely low level and attempt the content. Nowadays, most MMOs are apparently designed to help keep you playing, constantly distilling this'MMO formula'of what keeps people paying & playing, and end.
That I get pretty sweaty in them, my most important matches are fps and I play osrs on the side so we tend to seldom play people that have eachother, along with also my irl friends dont share my same competitiveness there. Osrs is cozy for me, something I chat about with them and can play with these buddies, compare achievements yadda yadda. I like that I can just chill out and degree some nonstop combat ability to get a while. If I do want combat I like that I just click an enemy and hope I hit high numbers(kinda like rolling dice lol) while I see instead of feeling pressured into rounding up all the mob groups in the region and bursting them down for optimum xp profits like most other mmos.
I just like the aesthetic of it, while yes its not modern and flashy I like the detail that is low and colors, there is just something about that type of thing I have always liked. The shitty 3 framework animations also give it this sort of peaceful stillness. Its certainly concerning the progression rather than RuneScapeplay however, I completely get why folks wonder why people still play this. Achievements feel significant. When I got 99 rc and hunter since the happiness I 16,, I'll always remember. Without doing anything else for it, I trained rc for a year that was literal. Other games hold you hand and'accomplishments" are commonplace, quest on osrs are really charismatic and also have tons of character, better than go kill x and also turn in. Quest also unlock a great deal of content and feel weighty and worth.
There's also the allure of never ending content. I have fun and always am able to place. Imo my thought process is the reverse that is completed, why do people play with any mmo? I mean I play osrs playing with other mmos a great deal of the time. But I'd have to say it's a fantastic variety of articles, skills feel a whole lot more profitable most mmos, you can do most articles. Above all its simple to RuneScape gold buy learn and to master. I really believe the combat is enjoyable in osrs then most other mmos. When you start performing high end raids in wow, you hit 6 distinct keys in a certain order and repeat.
