How do you believe career prospects are in Jagex?

There is a documentary that covers the entire timeline. Fundamentally, RuneScape appeared in 2007. Between 2008 and 2013 they included a great deal of updates which bothered a lot of players, such as removal of OSRS gold free commerce and dangerous PVP, Microtransactions, and graphic upgrades. They immediately realized they made a mistake and decided to begin the 2007 version again.

I added that this individually as not sure you would be comfortable answering it. How do you believe career prospects are in Jagex? It is no secret a large number of jmods have left especially with the low salary to skills the company seems to offer. What would you attempt to convey to somebody working in London on a more"boring" but career succeeds route in tech to convince them to move to Cambridge. Runescript seems unappealing to pick up, salaries seem low and glassdoors paints a poor picture of direction.

I've found great career prospects at Jagex. Staff turnover, especially in the games industry, is large and that's normal. What's distinct about Jagex is how public-facing we are, and that means you would actually notice us departing. You do not have to move to Cambridge, you are able to juggle working remotely and cruising (presumably so in the future). I've no complaints about my wages, and I'd always advise taking glassdoor reviews with a pinch of salt.it's not a secret because it's fairly normal. The games industry generally has a speedy turn-over and actually we are very exceptional with many team members having been working here 3, 5, 10+ years. I can not talk for RuneScript and I am a junior so I will not talk on wages either lol.

I really don't think that many of those people who have left have done so for the reasons you are describing here. When they have, I am not entirely certain what they're comparing it also - that I certainly do not have these problems, myself! It's important to remember that glassdoor reviews may be filed by anybody, whether they actually worked at Jagex, and that people who do have a negative experience for any reason may be more inclined to point out it. There's not a day I've woken up and dreaded the idea of arriving to work Even though the games industry as a whole might spend less than other places in technology, and I value which highly.

Personally I've been really supported at Jagex. I moved here in order to step up my career (and work on a sport I adore!), and I am more than pleased with the internal development opportunities I've been given.I've been a dev for a very long time and also the reason I live at Jagex is because I love my job. Money helps but I really like getting paid a fair amount and I'm not struggling. So it's the benefits of the city with the quiet of the where to buy osrs gold countryside within reach. It's just a place. It depends what you value most in your lifetime.
