The Hamatan wind from the north blows in and carries the dust particles from Sahara and brings them thru Nigeria to Ghana.The entire town is covered in muddy brown dust particles and everything has a thick layer of dirt on it.This dust is so fine its in your nose,ur hair,ears,nails and everything possible.If you sit in one place for a bit and the stand up and dust yourself u’ll be shocked to see the dirt u’ve collected.It is’nt so bad always…just for two months starting christmas.And in this hot weather one can think of nothing else but chilled lemonades and icecream.

I started last night by baking the chocolate cake.Very simple basic recipe …
Chocolate Cake
2 cups sugar
1-3/4 cups all-purpose flour
3/4 cup Cocoa
1-1/2 teaspoons baking powder
1-1/2 teaspoons baking soda
1 teaspoon salt
3 eggs
1 cup milk ( i used unsweetened soy milk )
1/2 cup vegetable oil
2 teaspoons vanilla extract
1/2 cup boiling water
Mix together sugar, flour, cocoa, baking powder, baking soda and salt in large bowl. Add eggs, milk, oil and vanilla; beat on medium speed of mixer 2 minutes.
Web Application FirewallStir in boiling water. Pour in cake tin and bake for 30-35 mins at 350F.Once ready let it cool and then slice off the top levelling the cake.
