Al-Farabi Kazakh National University

I am a student of Master;s degree at Al-Farabi Kazakh National University. This university is one of the oldest universities and biggest universities in Central Asia. Its history started in the XX century. Nowadays this university is one of the most prestigious educational institutions of our country.

My university is not only one of the best but also one of the largest and well-known university with great history. It consists of 82 bachelor degree programs and 17 faculties.

I study at the faculty of philology and world languages. It is one of the University’s oldest faculties. The faculty prepares specialists in the field of philology and. The level of education in Al-Farabi Kazakh National University meets high requirements of Kazakh employers.

The life of our university is full of events. At university I have found many friends and learnt new things. My university is located in fabulous area. Though, there are many another universities in our city, students choose Al-Farabi Kazakh National University.

The life of university is full of different events. Many scientists work here. Different conferences,seminars and meetings are held every year. Every student can take part in them.

Besides, Al-Farabi Kazakh National University cooperates with the universities of Germany, Turkey, Holland and China. So every year professors from these universities visit our university, meet students and share experience.

The students of Al-Farabi Kazakh National University achieve high results not only in science but also in sport. Our sport teams won many university and local sport competitions. They achieved high results in basketball and football.

My university encourage active students and I am very glad that I have chosen this university. I do my best to make my university better and more popular.
