About life at the University of IITU

In school years, we face the most important choice - our future. The future profession that you want to devote your years to, give up all of yourself and realize the most ambitious ambitions and dreams. University, where you will get a lot of knowledge in order to be an expert in your field of activity. And the work itself, from which you do not want to run home at 6 pm, headlong. A day-to-day profession will fill you with new forces and knowledge, will move you to new challenges and victories, will broaden your horizons and your opportunities. From childhood I dreamed of entering the journalism department, enrolling in one of the best universities in Kazakhstan and becoming a true professional in this field of activity. The choice of profession was easy for me, I knew what I wanted to be, but did not know which university I needed to go to, so I just chose, at that time, the International University of Information Technology.

The university is included in the top of the best universities of Kazakhstan, where the best specialists work and promising students from all over Kazakhstan and not only study.

The whole staff of teachers has degrees, PhD. All teachers are fluent in English, Russian and Kazakh. English in groups Upper-Intermediate, Intermediate is taught by native-speakers.

As a student, I can say that all teachers here are smart, positive and kind. The university is the official partner of Carnegie Mellon University and its discovery is directly related to it. The lessons use the iCarnegie program, which is officially a subsidiary of Carnegie Mellon, engaged in remote work and the implementation of the Carnegie Mellon program in foreign universities. The iCarnegie program is an IT-recognized program that is studied in dozens of universities in the world. Someone said, correct, if I am mistaken, but at Nazarbayev University, iCarnegie courses are also taught. In my opinion this is also an indicator.

If we talk about the features of my profession, the university has its own body and radio studios, equipped with professional equipment. Each student of the Faculty of Journalism has the opportunity to practice themselves in this field.

The International University of Information Technologies has all the possibilities for the development of a diverse and multifaceted personality, there are international exchanges, academic mobility, where any student can go for one semester to one of the countries with which the university cooperates. University partners are leading IT universities in Malaysia - University Kuala Lumpur, Limkokwing University, University Tenaga Nasional; Korea: KAIST, INHA, SUWON, HANBAT, Solbridge and other universities in the world.

Immediately after arriving at the university and the solemn ruler on September 1, it will be easy to notice how dozens of various youth organizations, student interest clubs, sports clubs and intellectual circles actively campaign to attract as many students as possible. When choosing a suitable club according to interests, the most important thing is not to get confused and to understand what there are more inclinations for, how a student plans to spend his student life. So, conditionally, all these organizations can be divided into the following categories: Students of International IT University do not miss the opportunity to constantly develop and expand their horizons. The university is actively working student government.

Student Government is the organization of the International IT University, consisting of students of 1-4 courses.

Composition of the Student Government: President, three vice-presidents, executive secretary and nine ministries, each of which is headed by a minister and his deputy. Every year, new students are accepted in the joint venture, who are required to have an interview.

Each ministry is responsible for the development of a particular area. For example, the Ministry of Culture includes KVN, the dance club “Shadows”, a music club, a film club, student theaters and an ensemble of national instruments. Also, the Ministry of Culture organizes various thematic parties, where students can have fun and relax after a busy study, as well as celebrate various holidays.

The Ministry of Science and Education conducts various master classes, tournaments and Olympiads, intellectual quests, language clubs. Also, the university has debate clubs.

In addition, the university has a student information and entertainment publication MAGnIT. Also, students have their own media service and PR. Students independently conduct vocational guidance for schools. All this is the responsibility of the Ministry of Media and PR.

There are also those who are responsible for the safety of our students. This is done by the Ministry of Internal Policy.

In the Ministry of Sports we have real champions. This is an IT Cheerleaders team that became the Champions of Kazakhstan among universities in the championship of Kazakhstan National Cheerleading Federation. These are the best and most active sports fans of the Fan Club IT Legion. And also, the team of organizers of the university football league League of IT.

If we talk about sports in IT detailed, then we have a sports club IT Legion, which are the champions of NSL-2016 football, as well as the champions in basketball IT Sparta. It should be noted that the club includes our athletes in tennis, badminton, chess and togyz kumalak, who are leaders in regional, regional and republican tournaments

Organizations like Union, Tigers and Volunteers League adorn student life. Also, the IT created the Senate, which is the link between the students and the dean's office.

Talk about student life in IT can continue forever. Every semester something new and unforgettable happens. Student life in IT is an ideal platform for student development. And also, the key to a happy and unforgettable student life.

At the International University of Information Technologies, in addition to the above, there are many other student clubs and associations. Each student can easily choose the student movement for his taste and spend their free time there productively.

Every year the university holds such events as: dedication to students; teambuilding; Halloween; contests Miss IITU, Sweet fair, Poetry evening, performances, cinema shows, IITU CHOICE AWARDS, music club day, etc.

Finally, it should be noted that, despite the abundance of various student activities and concerts, an active student life of the International University of Information Technologies, the basis of student life is still studying. That is why it is important to highlight most of your day in order to gnaw the granite of science, do your homework and prepare for the upcoming seminars, lectures and practical exercises. It is a good study that guarantees that a student will be able to spend time at elective events with a light heart and truly relax. As they say in ancient folk wisdom, business is time, and fun is an hour. This should be remembered by students to achieve success in the academic and personal field.

Only in his student years a person begins to live completely adult life, not yet filled with the usual problems of ordinary adult everyday life. Student life is a time of open prospects, the opportunity to live with dreams of a bright future, faith in the fulfillment of all desires and hope for openness of all doors.
