You will find thousands upon thousands of items in MMOs, and WoW Classic isn't any different. Among those WoW Classic things, some of them have bizarre and not-so-wonderful consequences. Below are some of the weirdest things in WoW Classic.
Crystal of Zin-Malor
The Crystal of Zin-Malor will drain the health and mana of anybody who isn't worthy of it. Everybody has the draining effects, and no one is safe.
So why do players wish to maintain this quest thing? Well, it can skip certain death rules. If you die under its consequences, your gear won't degrade.
PvP players have also found that arming it prior to getting ganked or strike by a Polymorph spell nullifies the strikes. That leaves them to counterattack and increases the chances of winning.

Last, it's used in a really off-meta construct that allows Priests tank to get the group. Priests have much in common with tanks, like a high HP, and they come together with the ability to cure. This is such a weird item. It is a weapon, but it's also consumable. It's low-level, thus has a feeble damage output, but its effects is great when used as a consumable. It will give you a 50% boost for your attack speed for 30 minutes.
You know who would gain from that?
Feral Druids. Weapon stats do not affect their auto-attack harm in another form, however they get the strike rate increase. It might only have three charges, but it is fairly easy to farm in a low-level dungeon. Having bags of this weapon can enhance your Druid's DPS.
Otherwise, it's rather useless.
