Hi to everyone who happens to read this post! ^^

'So what is Stylistics?' one may ask.

No, it is not about improving one's sense of style! (though would be interesting if it was :D).

'It's a type of Linguistics,' says Galperin.

'No, it's a sister science to Linguistics,' Ullmann corrects him.

'No, it's not a science at all!' shouts Widdowson angrily.

Hold on, guys! I'm confused. Is there a 100% correct answer? No? That's OK. I'll figure it out myself through Fall 2017 Stylistics class!!!
