Его зовут Мэттью Хардинг (1976 г.р.), он обычный американский программист. Первое свое путешествие Мэтт совершил в 2003 году и отсылал своему другу фотографии. Одной из первых стран, которые посетил Мэтт, стал Вьетнам. Популярность видео не осталась без внимания. Известная компания Cadbury заметила успехи Мэтта и предложила ему контракт. Мэтт в своих видеороликах должен был рекламировать жевательную резинку Stride gum. Все его путешествия сейчас полностью оплачиваются и проходят под девизом «Long Lasting Gum». Мэтту нужно лишь танцевать и регулярно выкладывать видео в сеть. В создании видеороликов Мэтту помогали многие люди. Это и его подруга, которая снимала танцы на камеру, и даже известные композиторы и певцы. Так, песня для одного из видеоклипов написана композитором Garry Schyman, который написал музыку к песне "Praan".
