“A share of renewable energy resources in Kazakhstan should be up to 3 per cent by 2020 and 30 per cent -by 2050 year,” Minister of Environment and Water Resources of Kazakhstan Nurlan Kapparov announced today during the seminar: “Green” economy: energy efficiency and saving.”

“According to experts, potential of such renewable energy resources of Kazakhstan as hydro, wind and solar energy are significant and measure above 1 trillion kilowatt–hour per annum,” the Minister noted.
