In the era of the globalization and high technology, when the world is rapidly changing it is very important to keep up with the world and adapt to the conditions. Education is a key factor in providing access to a wide range of information. Kazakh National University has been reaching this goal for 10 years. British agency QS by subject examined over 1200 universities in the world in five different subjects. KazNU got the highest place among the universities of Kazakhstan. Speciality of contemporary linguistics is in the top-100 of the world, speciality of linguistics is in the top-250. These indicators are on the level top universities of the world. Also,it is the first time when the specialities of economics, maths, physics, astronomy and econometrics entered the rating. In order to correspond to the standards, infrastructure of the university is constantly developing. In the last 9 years new buildings and objects were given to the operation. Students have new medical centre where they can get medical help anytime and check their wellbeing. Library of the University is one of the biggest and the best libraries in the central Asia. Students have access to a wide range of books, dissertations, studies and different resources. Laboratories are well established and fit the modern requests. Main treasure of the university is their teachers. I was lucky to get a scholarship for two diploma program between Moscow State Linguistic University and Kazakh National University. This program helped me to improve my skills, to get experience abroad. Master`s program of KazNU gave us opportunity to get experience abroad and to practice in the top Universities of the world. In conclusion, I would like to appreciate my teachers and my university for all the opportunities it is giving us. One of us is proud as a teacher, one of us as a mentor, and it is encouraging us to learn and work from the teachers, led by Gulmira Bayanzhanovna, in our Alma Mater. We hope that the future of KazNU is bright, and it has a long way to go!
