**Client Details**

Client’s name is Rosa Ergazhina. She is director of the organization, who 1 year ago has been started her business. For Rosa it is first business experience, but over the past 20 years of hairdresser work she always wanted to work for herself. In addition to the management of the organization and the purchase of necessary goods, Rosa with other employees serves customers.

Name of organization is hairdressing salon “Salindzh”. It has been in business for 1 year, starting from 10th August 2014. For a short time the organization was able to earn a good reputation and customers often use the services of the hairdresser. In the organization work 8 women, who engaged in client service and one of them receive calls, orders and answering questions. List of the offered services is wide enough: haircuts, hair coloring, a variety of hairstyles for men, women and children. Hairdressing salon does not have a website and any kind of effective advertisement.

**Problem Statement**

The current paper based system is organized in inappropriate way, because it is big notebook, where the master’s schedule, information about service and time is written.

- This kind of system does not provide full information about service and it is difficult to get a check in order to pay;
- Director of the organization cannot easily control income, expenses and losses;
- Also, there is no organized system for purchased goods, like hair dye or shampoo. There for, sometimes hairdresser can store expired goods;
- All workers have an access to the system and can make changes and corrections. Sometimes it is hard to query information about time or service, because of big numbers of clients with different changes;
- It cannot have multiple people use it at once.

Website with computerized system, where clients can choose a convenient time, will simplify the work of the organization. Also clients have to be sure that master is a professional, therefor, for example hairdresser portfolio, will help to see the quality of master’s work. Website will provide good advertisement, which will increase number of clients and income.

Moreover, it is important for organization’s director to know what day of the week or what week of the month has the highest rate of visiting of clients, what services consumed the greatest number of goods and who of the workers provided services for biggest number of clients. Director have to manage income, expenses, receipt and consumption of goods. In the case of loss of data, the director is not able to recover the information accumulated over a large period.

To solve all these problems I will use the complex algorithm and use the connection of PHP and MySQL.

 

Possible software

In creation of website, I will use PHP and MYSQL for databases, Photoshop or CorelDraw for attractive appearance of pages and banners, Dreamweaver program for editing of HTML-code. Convenient program for creating websites, with syntax highlighting html and css - Notepad, Gedit and PSPad will help to write and edit Web documents. In order to host future site I will use IDHOST service.
