Actions speak louder than words and are probably the best interpreters of one's intentions, feelings or thoughts. Yet the power of words is unprecedented and cannot be underestimated. They can lift one's spirit, light the fire in one's mind or, carelessly said, in a blink of an eye ruin the relationship. In our world, full of egoism, pragmatism and pressure we become extremely self-centered. We easily criticize others although we don't know and don't even try to understand why that person behaves that way and what he goes through. Negative words slip off the mouth so often that we don't even notice them. Egocentrism or egoism exist in us to different extents and can be seen in the way we express our feelings. We often forget to thank others for what they do for us. We are so restrained in our words of encouragement, admiration and appreciation.

Changing habits always requires some work. Sometimes extremely hard work. But it would not be such a bad idea to try to get out of our shells, replace words of criticism and sarcasm with words of love and kindness. We hear a lot of negativity every single day so why not to try to make one's day brighter by expressing your support both in words and actions?
