The Learning English language is popular in our days. You can find plenty of resourses at the internet. There are some advice from me as self study English student. Please do not judge me strong if i have mistakes.

Lets start: I devide the way of learning for four parts. Grammar (Writing), Reading, Listerning, Speaking.

I have pointed out the Grammar, Not writing, because it is an important parts of learning language. To teach yourself to speak with right grammar rules from the beginning. If not, later you spend more efford to fix them in your memory. Your mistakes sounds weird on front of forigners, you would look foolishly. Of course, there will be mistakes, do not frustrate about them, just go on. Useful websites: engvid.com, there you can choose a teacher by yourself and it includes the quiz at the end of lesson. All teachers are blogging on Youtube, i mean they are from youtube. Please write as much as possible, that makes your speaking strong. I read one rule from the internet. Try to avoid the word very, change it for synonym. For example: ver cold- freezing, very afraid- terrified so on.

Reading every day whatever you like. Usually, i read the news from Yahoo.com, national geographic, bbc news, NY Times. The reading gives you understanding the topic without translating of every word. And you intuitively understand articles. Second advice is reading books by translating every word. It works like that: take you favourite book and translate new words from first 100 pages or how you like. The tricky thing is: write them down on the empty parts of the book page. Then learn them by heart. The new words that you have learned would repeat in every page, so it is strengthened them all along. I know, it is sounds difficult, but i think it is quick and interesting way to expand your vocabulary. I recommend you my the best website: QUIZLET.com. There is you can creat your own sets and copy them for free from others. it can be used for other school or univercity subjects.

The best way to improve the speaking is having a native speaker friend. Just speak with friend every day if possible. Also, recording you voice is the most effective method.

Listerning to music with lyrics, watching movies and video from TED eveywhere on the bus, metro, do not stop. I think this part you know better than me. The internet gives so much possibilities, just with them. Just do it...do not think too much.
