The Eurasia Film Festival 2013 opened in Almaty on September 16. Eurasia International cinema festival is the brightest and the most important film festival on the territory of CIS and Baltic countries. Eurasia film festival is the only one film festival that works in compliance with FIAPF and included in the world film festivals catalogue. Celebrities, movie translations, competitions for the cinematographers and many other fun things will be during the festival.
As it’s been a tradition in the past, the official opening of Eurasia Festival was accompanied by the red carpet, on which the stars of Kazakhstan walked and other members along with Jane Campion, who is a holder of Golden Palm Branch of the Cannes movie festival, Oscar and the Silver Lion of the Venice movie festival for her movie The Piano starring Adrien Brody.
