On December 5-7, 2013 in Riga has passed practical conference "The transition to "green" economy through the introduction of ecologically clean technologies" the purpose of which was to consider the possibilities of the cooperation between Kazakhstan and Latvian organizations and cоmpanies in promotion of "green economy" and "green" business.
Under the plenary session in the conference was attended Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Kazakhstan to the Republic of Latvia Mr. B.A. Mukhamedzhanov, State Secretary of the Ministry of Environmental Protection and Regional Development of the Republic of Latvia Mr. A.Antonov, Vice Minister of Environment and Water Resources of the Republic of Kazakhstan Mr. T.A. Akhsambiev.
