New Nexus 7 Coming

New Nexus 7 sports an updated look, adds a rear camera   long waited to the Nexus 7 -2. see a presser I'm going to reserve judgment, too many rumors floating around about this one. S4 pro makes more sense to me on paper given Nexus's are historically mid range parts but it's still disappointing to think it won't come with at least an s600

1900 x 1080 at the min or I'm going to wait on another decent high resolution tablet from Samsung a 1.2-megapixel shooter from LITE ON MOBILE on the front, and 1.5 megapixel camera on the back

Android 4.3 in the new Nexus 7

The only Tegra-optimized game I have has already been made available for all chipsets. That said, there is no indication from any of the articles I've read that the next Nexus 7 will be powered by a Tegra 4.

deciding factor is the ability to plug in an SD card. I like having a lot of movies downloaded so I can watch when there's no connection. If there's no SD slot then I don't really have a reason to upgrade.

The APQ8064 is the Snapdragon S4 Pro, not the 600 - not that it matters, since each chip will fly through the tasks demanded. I think the listing was just misleading.  The 'APQ8064' is, in fact, the S4 Pro.  But, the MSM8064T and the APQ8064M are both the Snapdragon 600. love Qualcomm's naming scheme. I can look forward to it selling out in three minutes then waiting four months to get one. Which might be a good thing as by then there might be some accessories for it as well.

There are new people entering the tablet market each day, especially the older crowd. New products are one way to lure people in. it makes complete sense for a new version of the Nexus 7 to launch in July. The current or original Nexus 7 will be 1 year old then. Companies like to release product updates every year. That's nothing new
