Made replacing a defective N7 and get a galaxy tab 7 case for the links very easy, at least here in the UK. I had one of the early units, pre-ordered on Google play the day they announced it. It had issues, including with the construction - glass not fitted correctly, etc.


Google sent a replacement straight away, along with prepaid courier packaging, just requiring me to send the old one back within a couple of weeks. So I didn't have to give up use of my precious device for even a day. Very happy customer.

Anybody have any stories about sending the N7 back? This thing has issues. I am not going to root or take the back off while it's still under warranty. I never dropped it, I still had 20+ gigs left and RAM was running about half. Yet it was on the X screen all last night. I've reset it multiple times.

You know just because your N7 still works, doesn't mean there are not problems with this device. Mine used to "still work" too. I'm not blaming anybody, s**t happens. Just don't be patronizing.

I had the same experience with a Chromebook that arrived DOA. I just wondered what it was like with older devices. That's why I love Google. Good customer service and their devices are half the price of
