Qualcomm Battery Guru app for Nexus 4

Just got a brand new Nexus 4 and I'm loving it. But I was wondering, has anybody tried the Qualcomm Battery Guru app? Thoughts? I would like to coax some more life out of the beast in there.
I use ak kernel and trickster mod to force two cores off effectively turning it to a dual core ( Dual core tablets the links ?? )  of if need be force it to a single core . I don't get any lag with two cores off, if I need more juice I just online all four core but YMMV, hope this helps app good I've heard about it but never tried it because I like to get my hands dirty

like the app. I use custom kernels and roms as well. The app adds some life to the battery. I like it because it isn't intrusive on the system. It does it's job without crippling anything best thing to save battery is to turn off GPS, battery guru works on GPS, you can save more battery by turning off GPS & location services than by installing any battery saving app

I have been using battery guru for a long time now and I really can't tell a difference whether the app helps. I just use the app for the hell of it. It would be nice if they kept working on the app and maybe send out more updates. use it and gain maybe a couple of hours, it depends on your settings. I set it so that Facebook and other apps never refresh unless I open them, so I think that's a good saving. One thing I disabled was automatic turning on/off the WiFi. I prefer to toggle it manually from a widget.

a little looking and the Franco kernel looks good. I'm about to try it tonight. Thanks everyone!  really works. I get a full day now but I have my phone on airplane mode when I'm at work, use it on smoke break. I consider my self a very heavy user also.
