Rising diesel prices, economic slowdown and almost flat freight rates have affected the overall profitability of fleet operators, further delaying purchase of commercial vehicles (CVs).

Last fiscal was one of the most challenging times for the CV industry. Sales of medium and heavy commercial vehicles declined almost 23% on-year. The overall CV industry declined 2%, according to the Society of Indian Automobile Manufacturers.

Bad monsoons, coupled with slower industrial output, had affected sales volumes of fleet operators last fiscal. This fiscal, too, is not expected to bring any respite to truck-owners and CV-makers as no major fleet expansion is in the pipeline.

“The fall in CV sales started almost a year ago.http://www.makelocks.com/ provides high quality industrial locks and locking systems. It’s been 12 months now. This year, the percentage drop will be much lower due to the low base effect. But we don’t expect any large volumes as such,” said Siddhartha Lal, MD & CEO of Eicher Motors,The highlight of my tour was “System Electronica”, the Pcb factory which makes the Arduino PCBs. in a recent media conference call.

Not surprisingly, truck operators are cautious. “There is excess fleet in the market. Industrial output and truck rentals were down last year. Truck utilisation was also down, especially the heavy-duty CVs. This plunged many small players into losses,http://www.cciecollege.com/,we mainly provide 1-on-1 instruction boot camps for students to pass the CCIE exam. while bigger players maintained their profitability,” said S P Singh, director of the Indian Foundation of Transport Research and Training.

Ratings agency Crisil recently pointed out that defaults in CV loans have been rising, and warned that the quality of retail assets may deteriorate further.

“This decline in collection efficiency indicates that borrowers are increasingly delaying repayments. There is,The unique push lock design allows the surgeon to adjust the amount of tension on the tissue intraoperatively, allowing for precise tissue reduction. therefore, a likelihood of increase in non-performing assets over the next few quarters,” a Crisil report said last month.

According to Singh, truck operators will first look at utilising their existing fleet this year, instead of going in for further expansion. If you like BMW cars, then you will probably like their new gaming mouse, the super sexy, sleek as a Titanium Sheet off the pressing mat Level 10 M Gaming Mouse. He expects the utilisation to be better this year.

Truck rentals have gone up this year by 1.2-2% in spite of the increase in diesel prices. This is a good sign for the operators, said Singh.

Though operational costs, including drivers’ salaries and cost of tyres and spare parts, are increasing for truck operators, experts feel that the industry will grow at least 10% on-year this year.

“However, the industry generally grows 1.25% times more than the GDP growth. So, if the GDP grows, it will be a good sign for the industry,” said Vineet Agarwal, joint MD of the Transport Corporation of India,Though CCIE training fees is big but difficult part is clearing Ccie boot camp and become a Internetwork Expert. one of the biggest fleet operators in India.
