My name is Karina Stoyanova! I really like a stylistics. It is a very interesting discipline for me. I think that our speech will be more expressive and figurative due to the studying of stylistics. As shown by the several lessons of stylistics, I knew a small part of stylistic devices and expressive means. To be more precise I've just heard about many of them.
As I know now, stylistics is a branch of general linguistics that studies the various functional styles of speech and the various expressive means and devices of language.
I learn with enthusiasm new and new stylistic devices and expressive means. By trial and error I try to see them in the text. In my opinion, this is very exciting.
