Look at the picture. It is a picture of a farm. The farm is in the country; it is not in the town. It is a warm day; it isn’t cold. The sun is in the sky. There are some white clouds but they are small and the sky is very blue. There is a mountain on the right of the picture, and not far from the mountain there is a river. There are a few boys in the picture. All the boys are in the river except one. He is on the green grass. There are one or two big trees and some small trees in the picture. The small trees are apple–trees. They are on the left of the picture. There are red apples on the apple–trees. These apple–trees are in the garden of the farm–house. There are a lot of apples on the trees. There are flowers round the door and windows of the farm–house. There are a lot of animals on this farm. There are horses on the field near the river. One of the horses is black, the others are brown. In the next field there are some sheep; in the next one there are some pigs; and near to the pigs there are some cows. Some of the cows are brown, others are black and white. All the sheep are white except one. It is black. There is a horse and a cart in the picture. There are cabbages and potatoes in the cart. There is a field of yellow corn behind the farm–house.
