Well.. Today was a nice day. The classes were nice, I got all 15% on my econ assignment and I like the fact that I had the day planned out. School is actually good, it disciplines me and gives my life the order it sooo lacks. I find myself becoming more and more relaxed about my assignments. I'll just try to be more confident when approaching homework from now on.
I was reading Atwood on my way to and from school and there were a couple of pages where the narrator talks about her mother and as I was reading these pages on the tram, a fellow passnger's phone rang and I snapped my head instinctively to the sound to realized only a couple of seconds later that the reason i did that was because she had the exact ringtone my mother has. It was a bit weird, but it's these little things that remind me of home in a warm way.
Something useful I managed to do:
1. Went to class.
2. Kept to my healthy diet.
3. Read Atwood's Haindmaid's Tale
4. Printed readings for history class.
5. Picked up some econ magazines and old issues of New Yorker.
How I managed to indulge myself:
1. Watched an episode of gossip girl and pretty little liars.

Why?
1. Brad Pitt's accent. That man is incredible. I just love every scene there is the movie that he is engaged in.
2. The scene where Diane Kruger tries to pass the Basterds for her cinema friends. It's just hilarious, which brings me to my next point.
3. The Colonel, I don't remember his name. I love this actor although I don't know his name. I love the scene in the restaurant where over an applestrudel he casually talks to a girl whose family he slaughtered.
4. The girl is badass. And beautiful. Really, I admire her strength.
5. "I'm gonna give you a little somethin' you can't take you off" scenes.

She is beautiful. The scene where she's singing in Breakfast at Tiffany's is one of my favorites.
