Original Samsung Chromebook (from Google IO) was unusable for me in the real world due to seriously limited RAM. compare this to a Macbook is not a fair comparison. They are two totally different computers meant for two totally different things.

Should go buy a MacBook because you're clearly VERY well educated and should have nothing less than THE best So there's no other variables to be considered and if so, Google should just eat the profit to make them disappear so people in the UK can have one? For YEARS, we've had to go without or pay insanely high amounts (here in the US) for the same tech that the UK and Asia get.
That's just how business goes some times. There's already little profit (if any really) in the ChromeBook.
