DEVELOPMENT OF GREEN BELT IN ASTANA

The President of Kazakhstan Nursultan Nazarbayev has held a meeting on the development of ‘green belt’ around the area of Astana. The deputy head of administration of the president Bakhyt Sultanov, minister of environment protection Nurlan Kapparov, deputy minister of environment protection Yerlan Nyssanbayev and deputy mayor of Astana Vasily Krylov have participated in the meeting. The work on the formation of a green zone around Astana has been presented to the head of the state. The creation of recreational areas in the forest park and planting urban areas has been of great importance. The head of the state has given a number of specific assignments reported the press service of the president.
