Galaxy Nexus phones

Sadly I think I already know the answer but here goes. Will the unlocked Nexus 4 work with Verizon. Looking to update from my Galaxy Nexus phone but I love the stock Android experience. Don't want Touchwiz or Sense. Once you go Nexus, it's hard to go back. You're Nexus or against us.  Looks like I might just stick with the Galaxy Nexus a bit longer then. This screen and performance has me hooked and I love stock android tablet on sale. Phone still in great shape so I will just hold out a bit longer I guess. I don't think the Maxx is a step up from a Galaxy Nexus.

I have 4.2, bigger screen and much brighter and crisper display. The battery life is better on Maxx but about it. My coworker has the Maxx and while it is a good phone, is not a step up from mine in my opinion. I'm not giving up my speed, 4.2 and awesome screen display up for battery life. I'd rather keep a charger nearby. I'll have to look at it again and check.
The Maxx looked good but didn't look to be faster nor better screen when I put them side by side Verizon has their funny ways but I get great signal and super fast 4G. They ate slower with updates but I've always gotten great support from them and still have my unlimited data plan. So I am satisfied.

Consider the RAZR maxx as the Nexus 4 is gsm only at the moment. The RAZR also got unlocked and it is as close to stock on Verizon besides the galaxy nexus. The battery life is totally worth it!  it isn't comparable to the nexus 4 but it is running a s4, has 4.1, has amazing battery life, close to stock and a good 720p screen. It is a step up from the galaxy nexus.   I think the only advantage the galaxy nexus has is gets updates faster. It has a faster processor, a non pen tile 720p screen, way better battery life and a much stronger body. Not a huge step up but I really wish it was unlocked and gem.
